Palace!
More

2008 - June...
I know, I know...things have
been a little quiet here lately. Perhaps the chill of Melbourne winter :-)?
Have completed more behind the scenes site maintenance and all being well you won't
notice many changes. Regardless, your feedback is always appreciated.
There have been a few alterations and
additions to our
Links
page and yet more arrivals in
Duck Palace
for which I am always truly grateful!
Here's a recent article about my 5 year old friend, Sam Valavanis.

Also, did you know that the crane at the new Royal Children's Hospital
site is named Alexander
after one of the hospital's 3 year old patients? :-)

2008 - May...
I have finally completed a new
large abstract acrylic...visit
Ready To Hang
for more info or click on the image for a better view... And BIG THANKS for the new arrivals in
Duck Palace!

2008 - May...
Working on some website upgrades and maintenance...would love some feedback from those
"Glitch Hunters" out there!!! For those who keep an eye
on
Duck Palace, one two of the choccy Easter Quackers have been munched, and
yes, as yummy as they looked!!!

2008 - April...
A
long while between updates! I've
been away on a little adventure (with creative supplies but without
technology) for part of this month. Some new drawings have
appeared in my sketchbook after rediscovering coloured pencils, but they
are far from finished and certainly not fit for publishing...yet!
Also, if anyone is interested in viewing some ceramics that I have
decided to sell (from my personal collection) please let me know.
Thanks!

2008 - March...
Have
been back in the studio with new creations and completing some orders.
The rain arrived in Melbourne this week and there are no leaks in my
studio! BIG THANKS DAVO!!! It's a little tricky checking for
leaks without a heavy downpour... Also, imagine my delight when I
returned to my car after a recent shopping expedition... a van with my
TTE logo parked nearby! OK, I know, easily impressed... :-)

2008 - March - TUT
Jambo! I went to a meeting
of TUT's Adventure's Club on Tuesday night and all day Wednesday... and
am feeling inspired and truly blessed! If you need a dose of
smiley things in your inbox each weekday, you too can join TUT's

2008 - March - Artz Blitz
The 2008 theme? "Free". A 3
year old friend and I both entered the competition together this year.
It's lots of fun painting with someone else. And rather than paint
like crazy for almost 24 hours straight, I decided to take it a lot
easier this year. No need for the red cordial when I have a good
night sleep!
Am
looking forward to seeing the exhibition over the next week or so.

2008 - February - KAN Artsfest
A
few hardy KAN members braved the windy weather at the most recent
Artsfest. The displays were minimal due to the gusty conditions,
however the artists and writers were as enthusiastic as ever.
Bopping along to Mojo helped us keep warm!

2008 - Lost In (Cyber) Space...
Yeah!
We're back!!! Due to some external technical challenges, this site
recently disappeared for a little while. Hope this didn't cause any
inconvenience and if so I'd like to thank you for your patience and
understanding during our romp in cyberspace.
It is possible that there may still be a few missing pictures or broken
links, so if you find any, I'd appreciate you letting me know so they
can be fixed as soon as possible. Unfortunately it is likely that
any emails sent to us from approx 7th - 14th February 2008 also have
vanished into the ether...hmmm, sorry.
Most importantly, thanks to those whose support was invaluable during
our romp. We're glad to be back!
A little Reminder - Next KAN Artsfest
Saturday 23rd February 2008 - just scroll down for further info...

A few of my paintings were on display at
the Globe to Globe World Music Festival on 26th and 27th January 2008, Namatjira Park in Clayton South as part of the KAN (Kingston Arts

whilst everything was just warming up and would like to thank Dorothy

2008 - January...
A few
personal thoughts...
Each year I aim to be happier and healthier than the year
before, to continue to follow my instincts, to add a little joy to our
world and to leave things at least a little better than the way I found
them, always remembering to be grateful for all the wonderful blessings
in our lives. Resolutions or just a positive way to live?
This year
in particular I'm going to try to do one little thing each day to
enhance my wellbeing and that of those around me. By each doing a
tiny bit our world has to become a happier, healthier place for all.
Happy Journeying!
A
Little Note: Sometimes the big ideas are hard to stick to, so I find that
travelling through a list of little challenges is easier to tackle than
a big mountain! Needing inspiration? Visit
